Accepting a Nursery Place Offer

This page explains how to accept a place offer, the timeframe for responding, and what happens once you confirm your child’s place. You’ll also find guidance on providing documents, arranging settling‑in sessions, and how to request changes to your booked days or end your place if your circumstances change.

1. How We Offer Nursery Places

If we have a space for your child, a senior member of our staff team will contact you. They will let you know whether your requested days are available or, if not, what alternative sessions we can offer. You can then choose to accept or decline based on your circumstances.

Once you receive your offer letter, you will have 7 days to accept your nursery place. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will assume the place is no longer needed and it will be offered to the next child on our waiting list.

When you confirm that you wish to accept your place, we will ask you to provide the required documents (these will be discussed with you). We will then arrange your child’s settling‑in sessions.

2. Changing Your Nursery Days or Times

If you wish to change your nursery days or times, you will need to send a written request to mapletreenursery@hotmail.co.uk giving 1 month’s notice. We are unable to process requests made earlier than this.

We will review our current numbers to see whether we can accommodate your request. If we are unable to offer the change due to room capacity, you will be informed and added to the waiting list for when the sessions become available.

3. Ending Your Nursery Place

If you wish to terminate your place with us, you will need to provide 4 weeks’ notice in writing.
